As the world leader in Quality of Life services, we are committed to deepening our understanding of how Quality of Life is perceived, valued and tackled as a factor of performance in today’s organizations.

This first  international study, conducted by the Sodexo Institute for Quality of Life, makes a significant contribution to our thought leadership strategy. Feedback and insights were collected from 780 decision makers from three different segments (Corporate, Healthcare and Universities) across six countries (Brazil, China, France, India, United Kingdom and the United States).

This study shows that decision makers recognize a link between improving Quality of Life and performance. It goes even further, to identify the specific business outcomes (such as image and reputation, business, financial performance and organizational efficiency).

Sodexo Institute for Quality of Life

In 2009, Sodexo set out to create a resource to deepen its  understanding of Quality of Life.
The resulting think-tank, the Sodexo Institute for Quality of Life, is founded on Sodexo’s conviction that proving Quality of Life leads to the progress of individuals and contributes to the performance of organizations. The Institute’s objective is to gather and develop insight on the drivers of Quality of Life and their impact. It does this by developing and leveraging relationships  with external experts.

How leaders value Quality of Life?

Thomas Jelley, director of the Sodexo Institute for Quality of Life, and study director Isabelle Panhard of Harris International explain why Quality of Life is an increasingly important topic for the worlds’ decision makers.

Sodexo’s forthcoming Quality of Life Conference

As an international leader in quality of life services, Sodexo is committed to deepening its understanding of how the issue is embraced in organizations today and will host a global conference dedicated to the subject in May 2015 in New York. The Quality of Life Conference will bring together an unparalleled array of eminent thinkers and practitioners from all professional walks of life and from around the world. It will be structured around six key aspects of quality of life - space management, local communities, personal recognition, nutrition, technology and gender balance - and will examine issues including how organizations can adapt to improve quality of life, the emergence of the quality of life economic model and how to ensure the next generation is invested in the process of change. Learn more
