Sodexo | Kelvin are welcoming students at the University of Sharjah back to in-person classes with a fresh new menu and an easy delivery service through the OneKlick app

After a long period of online-only classes due to the covid 19 pandemic, in-person classes are now back in full swing at one of the UAE’s most prestigious university campuses, The University of Sharjah. With Sodexo Kelvin serving up healthy and appetizing dishes with a smile in the food hall and providing even greater access through the One-Klick app, students, faculty and visitors are enjoying all that’s now on offer.

A Long Break

The Covid-19 pandemic had a huge impact on all of us and changed how we lived our daily lives. Education was one of the sectors most profoundly affected with in-person classes no longer possible and everything moving online. In the UAE, these changes lasted anything up to two years and it was only this September that many schools and universities moved back completely to in-person classes.

The University of Sharjah is ranked in the top 3 universities in the UAE, and with 1000’s of students from all corners of the world coming together, the campus was buzzing once again from this September when everyone returned from the etended break. Sodexo|Kelvin was there to welcome everyone back with a full catering service and a brand new menu for the year focusing on nutrition and the ever-evolving tastes of Gen Z students who enjoy a variety from shawarma to hamburgers to fresh crunchy salads. All served by a specially trained and courteous team making sure everything runs smoothly and hygienically.

The Convenience of OneKlick

Another innovation this academic year has been the introduction of the OneKlick app. A new mobile platform that allows students and staff to order food and drinks through a specially designed app and either pick them up when it’s convenient for them, or get food delivered to offices, desks, libraries, common areas, or accommodation blocks.

With these brand new menus and exciting innovations, students, staff and visitors on the University of Sharjah campus are already enjoying these new culinary experiences and Sodexo|Kelvin are looking forward to an academic year of activities, engaging with new customers, and contributing to a thriving learning environment.
